I recently read this book for a book discussion at the library and really enjoyed it. Border Songs is the story of 6’8” Brandon Vanderkool who works as a border patrol agent between the Canadian and American borders. Brandon is more concerned with bird watching and creating art than worrying about the border; however he keeps bungling into more and more trouble. Bombs, Drugs, and Gun Runners all while trying to find love and meaning in life.
